Making Strides Together: Community Involvement
Our community outreach includes the City of Tallahassee Adopt A Street program, Leon County Schools Mentor Program, hosting food and clothing drives, and more.
Fostering Bright Futures
SWIH partners with the Leon County Schools Mentor Program to support Pineview Elementary School’s efforts in improving grades, attendance, and behavior. Members are matched with a student and meet regularly throughout the academic year.
Keeping Our Community Beautiful
The City of Tallahassee’s Adopt A Street program is a collaboration between the city and Keep Tallahassee-Leon County Beautiful. SWIH has adopted Polk Drive and conducts six cleanups annually to maintain a litter-free roadside.
Back-to-School Support and Beyond
SWIH lends a helping hand to Hallelujah 95.3FM’s annual Back-to-School Fun Day by donating supplies and offering volunteer support for the distribution of free school materials to students in need.
Thank you to our partners!
